i find out the background isn't good enough. So, i changed it and become the new image that i post on top!!!

For the final step, I put the statement below the poster and this is my final work!!!!

Fourth step

I make the other smoke on front and make it blur and transparent.

Next step

I use pencil tool to draw the smoke and fire and combine it together. Then i gradient it with smoke and fire colour. Lastly, i make it blur, so it looks like smoke.

2nd step

After that, I make an earth by using elipse tool and for the land part i just simply draw a shape and put on it. Then, i put some star on the top......

First, I create the background by using gradient tool. Then i use pen tool to make the factory and drop shadow. Also, for the window i use rectangle tool to make it.

This is my 1st sketching for global warming poster. I make the smoke slowly turn into fire to burn the earth. It looks like the earth is hot.......

Assignment 3

What is global warming

Earth is warmed by heat-trapping gases, also called greenhouse gases, that are present in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases have kept the temperature of the planet in a range hospitable for life as we know it for a long time. Recently, due to human activity, levels of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, have been increasing in the atmosphere. This increase threatens to make Earth warmer than it has been for millions of years. As a result of this planetary warming trend, sea level will also rise.Throughout the world, temperatures are higher on land, in the air, at the sea surface, underground, and under ice. Ice covered areas are receding, and recent data suggests that the polar ice caps may be melting faster than expected. There is also evidence that tropical storms may be growing more intense.

Effects

There are 2 major effects of global warming:

1. Increase of temperature on the earth by about 3° C to 5° C (34° to 41° Fahrenheit) by the year 2100.
2. Rise of thr sea levels by at least 25 meters (82 feet) by the year 2100.

More details about the effects of global warming :

Increasing global temperatures are causing a broad range of changes. Sea levels are rising due to thermal expansion of the ocean, in addition to melting of land ice. Amounts and patterns of precipitation are changing. The total annual power of hurricanes has already increased markedly since 1975 because their average intensity and average duration have increased (in addition, there has been a high correlation of hurricane power with tropical sea-surface temperature).
Changes in temperature and precipitation patterns increase the frequency, duration, and intensity of other extreme weather events, such as floods, droughts, heat waves, and tornadoes. Other effects of global warming include higher or lower agricultural yields, further glacial retreat, reduced summer stream flows, species extinctions. As a further effect of global warming, diseases like malaria are returning into areas where they have been extinguished earlier.
Although global warming is affecting the number and magnitude of these events, it is difficult to connect specific events to global warming. Although most studies focus on the period up to 2100, warming is expected to continue past then because carbon dioxide (chemical symbol CO2) has an estimated atmospheric lifetime of 50 to 200 years. In the final, i forgot put the names of the day on the top of the calender.

so i juz add it n this is my final work.

Last step (Final)

I juz add snow flakes for the background. To make a snow flakes i use pen tool for outline n drop in white colour. After that, i adjust the size by free transform tool n some of it i turn a bit n it's looks the snow was droppind from the sky. then i copy and paste it.

Therefore, i put the shadow for the houses n tree by copy the shape of house n make it transparency.

And this is my final work.....

6th step

It's looks too plain before that.

So i add some lights around the Christmas tree n some of them are hanging through the houses.

This will make it's looks like they are celebrating the christmas day.

For the lights i use pen tool to make outline n fill it in different colours.

Also make it in outer glow.

Then i copy n paste it n put it around the tree and hang through the houses.

This wiil be looks nicer compare with before......

Fifth steP

In this step, I make houses around the tree n looks like eveyone celebrate the christmas together.

To make the houses, i use pen tool to make outline n some of it have use rectangle tool to make it double story. At the back of the house i fill in black colour n in middle i fill in grey n last in the front i make gradient it.

This will looks they are in different places.

For the window i use ellipse tool and rectangle tool to make it n fill in yellow colour. In the middle of the window i put line with using line segment tool.

It's almost finish for my calender.....

4th sTeP

In this step, i juz make a christmas tree only. I use pen tool to make the tree part. then i copy n paste with other parts n i change the below part of the tree, so i won't looks same with every layers.

For the uper part of the tree, i use star tool to make it. I it fill in yellow colour n make it outer glow.

The part of the trunk i use pen tool to make outline and that day in tutorial class we learn how to use mesh tool n so i tried to use it to fill colour. while it looks not so nice but still ok!!!

I make it in 2 colour for the christmas tree n i have to decided to choose which colour are better. Then i choose the white colour becoz the green colour it's look too colourful n not match with my background.

Third step

After finished the below part then i started to make the upper by using rounded rectangle tool n pen tool to draw outline for santa clause and the sleigh. Then i use live paint bucket to drop them in black colour. For the sleigh i put it outer glow by white, so it looks like santa glowing at the sky.

For reindeer it suppose have nine, that is 2 line and every line have 4 and 1 in the front but it's look too much for it, so i juz make 3 only. It's also the same way to make the reindeer, i use pen tool to draw outline and drop black colour with live paint bucket. after that, i make it outer glow.

It is simple to make the moon and that is make 2 ellipse tool in different colour and blend it by blend tool.

At the back of the santa i put some shiny star and it make by pen tool for the outline n drop in white colour n make it outer glow.

Second Step

In second step, I juz add a one thing only. I add the santa claus in the 25th box to specified the day of Christmas day. While it is too small in the picture that i post but still can see it.

For the santa i use a lot of tool to make it and that is rounded rectangle tool, ellipse tool,pen tool and blend tool.

First step

This is my first step. First i use the rectangle tool to make the

background then i make it in gradient. After that, it's also the same

from the background i use rounded rectangle to make a big box at the behind and in front i paste the small boxes with drop shadow. Inside the small boxes i use type tool to type the numbers and for Sunday i make it in red colour n also drop shadow. Same with the word december n 2008.

The middle of the december n 2008 , I made some decoration n i call it grass coz i don't know what it call. I made it with using 2 ellipse tool n

i fill in green colour n after that i make it roughen. After that, i put some

light on it.

For the ribbon i use pen tool to make it partly n i fill in red colour. And

gradient it.

Christmas tree is also a main thing in Christmas


and all people will have it when Christmas.

"A snowman" Christmas is in winter season and most of them

will make snowman as a decoration. "Santa Claus" he is the main chacracter in Christmas

Assignment 2-Calender

To do a calender for assignment 2 and I decided to do a "Christmas month calender".
Christmas is base on december and it is an annual holiday that celebrate the birth of Jesus.
In this festival, it is a bit same with chinese new year. Like all people celebrated with their family
and decorate their house together. Also they give present to each other. In the festival it
show all people was happy and caring each other when celebrate together.

Finally Finish

I hav changed my colour from the dragon. I gradient it and add some line inside the shield.
